I’ve ordered a couple of games from Thunderworks now, and so far the quality seems solid. I keep wondering if I’m just being easy on them, but the cards haven’t started bending or feeling flimsy, and the boards still look good after quite a few plays.
The boxes feel sturdy too, although one of mine did show up with a slightly dinged corner from shipping. I almost didn’t even mention it because it wasn’t a big deal, but I guess it’s still worth noting.

Overall, I’m happy with how everything is holding up. I’m not sure how they’d do with really rough handling, but if you take decent care of your games, they feel like they should last.

I was happy with this. The games are fun and definitely worth what I paid. Nothing fancy to complain about, just a solid deal overall.

I played a few Thunderworks games now, and overall the balance felt good. After a couple repeat plays, some matchups or strategies do feels a little stronger than others, but it never really ruins the fun for us. Most of the time it seem fair enough, and if something feels off, it’s easy to tweak a bit

In my experience using Thunderworks Games, the theme just didn’t feel very well put together. Some sections looked a bit off to me, and the pages didn’t really feel like they matched each other. Maybe it’s just my preference, but it came across as unfinished and kind of frustrating to use. It wasn’t what I was expecting, so I’d give it 1 star.

I do like the games, and that’s why I was hoping the support side would be smoother. I had an issue with an order and reached out thinking it would be a quick fix, but I ended up feeling a bit pressured because I needed it handled and wasn’t getting any updates.

It took several days before someone got back to me, and when they finally did, it seemed like they hadn’t really read my message. I had to explain the same thing again, which was frustrating when I was already trying to get it sorted as soon as possible.

To be fair, the issue did get fixed in the end, so it wasn’t a total disaster. But the slow replies and all the back and forth made the whole thing more stressful than it needed to be

This was really easy to use. Took me just a few minutes to set it up, and packing it away was just as quick

I’ve had a decent time with these games, and there are definitely some clever ideas in there. There’s enough strategy to make me think, which I like, but I’m not going to pretend every session was a hit. Sometimes it gets a little too fiddly, or the balance feels off, and that can take the fun out of it for me. I’d still play again with the right group, but I’d probably go in cautiously rather than expecting an amazing game night every time.

I don’t have a ton of time, but I just wanted to say the art style looks really nice. It immediately stood out to me and I’m genuinely loving the overall look...

I was trying to buy a game, but the whole checkout process was such a hassle. I had to wait in a queue for way longer than I expected, and then once I finally got to the payment part, the page kept freezing. I refreshed twice, and at one point my cart even emptied itself. Maybe it was just bad timing, but it was really frustrating and I ended up giving up.

I picked this up mostly for solo play, it just felt a bit underdeveloped to me. The setup seemed to take quite a while, and the choices didn’t feel all that interesting once I got going. I gave it a couple of tries, but I was already getting bored. Maybe it works better with other players, but for solo, I was disappointed

They did end up sending the missing piece, so I can’t complain too much. It just took a couple emails and some waiting, though part of that might be on me since I’m not always the fastest at following up. Glad it got sorted in the end, but the process could’ve been a little smoother.

I gave it 4 stars because the listed playtime was actually accurate for us, which was a nice surprise! Setup took a little longer than expected, but once we got going, the game length felt really close to what was advertised...

I grabbed one of their games to play with my family, the rules made sense fast. It took us about one round to fully get the flow, but after that everything felt really smooth. Fun learning curve too — easygoing, not stressful at all.

I grabbed this expansion to play with my friends, we all had a great time with it. Compared to some other expansions I’ve tried, this one felt like it actually added a lot to the game instead of just feeling like extra stuff tacked on. Everything worked smoothly for us too, no issues or weird problems.

It was fine with fewer people, kind of enjoyable, but once we added more players it just—yeah, it started feeling a lot less fun. I’d probably stick to smaller groups for this one

The box came in safe, well, it had a small dent, but the game itself was totally fine. No real complaints.

I’ve played their games quite a few times now and I’m still not bored. Each round feels a little different so it’s easy to jump back in later. For me the replay value is really solid.

I’ve had a good time with their games overall. The ideas are easy to understand and it doesn’t take long to jump in, which I really like. For me, though, the depth feels a little inconsistent. Some matches are genuinely fun and keep me engaged, but after a few rounds I sometimes feel like I’ve already seen most of what the game has to offer. I wouldn’t call it bad at all, I just personally wish there was a bit more to chew on if you’re playing over the long term.

I ordered a couple of games from Thunderworks Games, and the whole order arrived exactly as selected. The editions were correct, the quantities matched, and nothing was missing, which is always a relief when you’re waiting on a few specific items.

The shipping box was in good condition, and the packing slip lined up with everything inside. It was a straightforward experience, but that’s exactly what I was hoping for. I’d be happy to order from them again.
